My granddaughter Mary Kelly Vavruska who is 5 years old and attends kindergarden was told to write a short story about something she liked. She wrote ( printed ) the following story.

My dinner at Applebee's:

"Mom can I please go to Applebee's. I asked the waiter what is your name. Carlee, the waiter said, may I help you with your order. There were a lot of people at my table. We were all happy".

This is word for word what she put down in her school book. She received a Smiley Face for a mark on her paper. She made up the waiters name on her own, but the rest is her thoughts on Applebee's She has been there many times with her parents.

I just thought you would like to know that you beat out McDonald's, Burger King and the many pizza shops in our area to this five year old.
